South Coast Festival Weekend with vary between Stage Only & Classical Only. Please double check which event you’re entering.
Age of Stage Groups, Duets, Trios & Quartets are determined by the age of the oldest competitor.
Competitors Age is taken from the previous 31st August – e.g. September 2024 Event – take from August 31st 2024. March 2025 event still take from August 31st 2024.
Pointe work is not allowed for any entrant under 13 years of age
No un-authorised person at side of stage
Entrants only accepted with dancing teachers permission, by online system- payment must be made at time of entering.
Live singing is only allowed in the song & dance class. Pre-recorded singing or chanting is NOT allowed in the musical theatre section.
Pre-recorded music in the tap class must NOT include any recorded tap or similar sound effect.
In all classes please ensure the costume, movement and music is appropriate for the age of the entrant.
Classical Section (Ballet, Character, Contemporary, Global Dance & Greek, lyrical) or Stage Section (Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical Jazz, commercial & Acro) Lyrical Jazz & Contemporary is for age 11+ only
